Mustafaoğlu

Dr. Mustafaoğlu graduated from İstanbul Technical University, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2005. In 2018, she received her PhD in the Biongineering Program from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Mustafaoglu’s research team focus on "Brain-shuttles" developing nano-shuttles for crossing the blood-brain barrier and testing them on human cell-based organ chip models. In line with this focus, 14 original projects proposed by the team are supported by national and international funds. Among them, 2 are funded by the European Union, 1 by the EMBO Installation Grant, 2 by Sabancı University internal awards, 2 by bilateral cooperation TÜBİTAK 2247A, 2247D Stage 1 Application Form - 2023 4 projects, 2 by TÜBİTAK-1001, 2 by TÜBİTAK-1004 funds, 1 by TÜBİTAK-2219A Postdoctoral Researcher Support Program, and 2 by the European Union ERA-NET Program.
