Dr. Hivda Ulbegi Polat received her bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kırıkkale University and her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Gießen Justus Liebig University. Since 2011, she has been working as a chief researcher at TUBITAK MAM. Her specialization is microbiology, bacteriology, bacterial characterization and taxonomy, bacterial toxin studies, protein analysis techniques, vaccine studies, antigenantibody relationship, antigen adjuvant relationship, monitoring of antibody responses, in vivo model animal studies (tumor model, infectious modeling), in vivo toxicity studies, vaccine / drug dose studies in in vivo model, GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), Clean room studies (feature BSL-3 Laboratory) and the creation of SOP (Standard Operation Procedures), Biosafety Level 2, Level 3 Laboratory (BSL 2, BSL 3) Installation. In this context, vaccination studies against bacterial toxin are continuing.
